Professor at the Pontifical Gregorian University and Distinguished Visiting Professor at Seattle University in the College of Science and Engineering, Father Paolo Benanti is specialising in ethics, bioethics, and technology ethics. Advisor to Pope Francis on AI and technological ethics, he is member of the United Nations' New Artificial Intelligence Advisory Board. Recently appointed head of the AI Commission of the Italian government.
Full Professor of Applied Social Psychology (endowed chair with the specific focus on LGBTQI+ diversity and health) in the Work and Social Psychology Department at Maastricht University. Previously, he held an adjunct professorship at the Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care, Chinese University of Hong Kong. From 2017-2023, he served on the Executive Board of EASP, and from 2020-2023 as its president. His research focuses on self-regulation and affective approaches in health and discrimination, as well as risky decision-making.
Associate Professor at Maastricht University, Katleen Gabriels is a moral philosopher and a philosopher of technology, specialised in computer and machine ethics (AI, monitoring technology, VR). She researches the co-shaping of morality and computer technologies. Since 2020, Katleen has been the programme director of the interdisciplinary BA Digital Society. She is an executive board member of INSEIT, the chair of ETHICOMP, an international organisation that occupies itself with ethical computing, and an affiliate member of 4TU Centre for Ethics and Technology.

With a solid academic background across the most prestigious universities of the world (MIT, Harvard, INSEAD), he is the Project Leader and the Communication Strategist of the most important campaigns run for national and international public clients including ICE, WHO, EU Commission, European Parliament. In 2022, he oversaw the designing and realising of the first-of-its-kind nation branding campaign promoting the "Made in Italy" trademark worldwide.
Over the years, he has taught at various universities in Italy and abroad on topics such as public order and security law and digital law (d'Annunzio University), cybersecurity contracts (da Vinci online University), privacy, digital identity and cybersecurity (Rome Sapienza University). He has also given special lectures on law and technology at Keio, Chuo and Nagoya Universities in Japan. His latest book, The Digital Rights Delusion (Routledge 2023), deals extensively with the legal issues related to robotics and AI, while the books he co-authored with Raymond Wacks, Professor Emeritus of Law and Legal Theory at the University of Hong Kong, explore challenging topics such as the protection of personal information, national security and the public policy implications of the pandemic. He is currently working as a legal expert for the Undersecretary of State for Digital Transformation of the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
Ambassador Ranieri Sabatucci, long-serving EU official, is currently serving as the European Union's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. From 2016 to 2020, Ranieri Sabatucci served as the Ambassador of the European Union to the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Prior to this, he served at the European Commission (from 1986 to 1989), at the Division for the Pacific and at the Division for South East Asia and ASEAN, and at the EU External Action Service (EEAS) in Brussels, Belgium.
Endowed with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset, Paolo Vallonchini coordinates Pomilio Blumm's tender department. He has 10 years of professional experience and is responsible for managing tender processes from start to finish. His role involves identifying, analysing and responding to relevant EU tenders, coordinating with other departments and suppliers to gather the required inputs and developing and implementing proposals and quality management systems that align with the Contracting Authorities' objectives. He holds a Master's Degree in International Relations and a second-level Master in Diplomacy and International Politics at the Alma Mater Studiorum in Bologna.
Is the coordinator of the data analysis unit of Pomilio Blumm, with a background in Political Science and Economics. His team develops research design & implementation for impact evaluations of communication activities, including survey design and analysis, and big data management. He has conducted research for the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) and collaborated with KPMG UK.
Press Officer and Media Relation expert in Pomilio Blumm, where he deals with the communication of international public institutions. He has been a journalist, awarded movie director/ screenwriter/author, radio/TV host and station manager. He has been in charge of the radio lab of the University of Teramo, where he also was an assistant to the chairs of History of Media, Radio Communication, and Science Communication. He was European Parliament Press Office Intern.
Experienced copywriter and creative strategist, she has been managing the production of complex editorial projects for Pomilio Blumm EU clients, including traditional and digital products. In 2022, as a creative director and the head of content, she was responsible for developing the architecture and the content for "Made in Italy", a nation branding campaign. Some of the main institutional clients she worked for are ICE, MAECI, European Commission, eu-LISA, EIGE and Eurostat. She holds a Master's Degree in Copywriting from Siena University, Italy.
As Art Director and Strategic Designer at Pomilio Blumm, he is in charge of visual communications. With his creative input, he contributed to the innovative nation branding campaign realised by Pomilio Blumm in 2022 promoting the "Made in Italy" trademark. The main clients he worked for are ICE, European Parliament, and European Commission. His work experience prior to Pomilio Blumm includes the Art Director role for the Global Digital Marketing Team at Tiffany & Co. in New York City. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Design from Pratt Institute, NYC.
Daniela Locantore oversees the quality and cohesiveness of creative assets at Pomilio Blumm, with a particular focus on digital assets, leveraging her background in Digital Design. She holds a Master's Degree in Visual and Digital Media from IE University in Madrid and a Master's Degree in User Experience Design from UXER School in Madrid. With her expertise in User Experience Design, Daniela and the team are dedicated to creating assets that are compelling, engaging, useful, and accessible to all audiences, while adhering to the creative brief. She has worked with prominent clients such as DG JUST, EPRS, DG SANTE, and eu-Lisa, among others.
Daniela completed her Political Science studies at LUISS University in Rome. Then she pursued a one-year master’s degree in political science at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, where she wrote a master’s thesis on European Security focusing on cybersecurity policy and regulations. She also earned a Postgraduate degree in International Relations, researching the "Digital entity and right to oblivion." Daniela has collaborated with the Italian Embassy in Brussels to organize events with international stakeholders to enhance the country's visibility. Since 2016, she has worked in the Procurement Department of Pomilio Blumm as a Project Designer, responsible for drafting technical and financial proposals for various calls for tenders issued by the EC – DG COMM, the ECB, the EUIPO, and different EU Delegations worldwide.
Currently IT manager at Pomilio Blumm, Edenio Rosati has been at the forefront of major IT revolutions since 1983. He was captivated by the early waves of home and personal computing in the early 1980s, quickly becoming a developer despite having an academic background unrelated to technology. Edenio soon adopted the Graphic User Interface introduced by Apple, which ignited the Desktop Publishing era. In the late 1990s, he foresaw the Internet revolution, creating some of the first database-supported websites. Shortly after, he immersed himself in the emerging Web 2.0 and social media landscape. Recently, he has specialized in managing the technical aspects of online and hybrid events. Currently, he is deeply involved in understanding, using, and teaching how generative Artificial Intelligence can impact our jobs and lives.
Working for Pomilio Blumm in the International Projects Unit, Stella has been an Administrative Contract Manager since 2017. Her tasks include monitoring of publications and identification of calls for tenders issued by public bodies at the international level, analysis of requirements for participation, compilation of administrative and legal documentation required for participation, and finally, management of offer delivery processes.
With years of experience in design and advertising, she passionately navigates the realms of digital marketing and communications. At Pomilio Blumm she works closely with European institutions on global-scale projects, managing clients' needs to ensure smooth digital and media planning. Unafraid to roll up her sleeves, she actively supports creative teams in crafting outstanding campaigns.
Francesco Baiocchi is the head of Digital Advertising operations at Pomilio Blumm. He has worked between Milan and London at some of the most important international communication agencies such as EY, managing SEO and SEM projects of global scope. Today together with his team he manages campaigns on behalf of agency’s clients all over the world, from Europe to America to Asian markets and China. He specialises in Media Buying, Social & Programmatic Advertising, Campaigning Optimization and Performance and Advanced Reporting.
