The Pomilio Blumm Prize – Harnessing the disruptive energy of art

An international prize and innovative TV contest dedicated to emerging artists who explore the valuable connection between the arts and communication.

Established in 2011, the Pomilio Blumm Prize is an international art award that celebrates the civic value of art in contemporary society, and its unparalleled capacity for avant-garde visions.

Art is, in fact, the most intuitive and effective tool in the discovery of new languages and the search for inventive ways through which to speak to citizens and reach their hearts and minds.

Emerging artists from all over the world are invited to convert intangible collective values such as transparency and identity, into tangible creative solutions that focus on the relationship between citizens and institutions as an overall interpretative frame.

Preceded by two earlier editions, in 2015 the Pomilio Blumm Prize Art Contest Show was recreated into an innovative 'docu-contest' in collaboration with Magnolia and SkyArteHD Channel, with maestro Michelangelo Pistoletto serving as president of the jury.
