ISTAT Permanent Censuses 2024/2025
The 2024 Permanent Censuses campaign marks the renewal of the collaboration between Pomilio Blumm and ISTAT, which began in 2011 with the communication plan for the Population Census and was further strengthened in 2018, when the agency supported the transition from decennial to permanent censuses.
The communication campaign for the 2024 Permanent census of population and housing "moves to the rhythm of music": the claim, inspired by the chorus of the song "Quando c’è sentimento" by Neri per Caso, transforms the census into a moment of shared participation, creating an emotional and instantly recognisable connection with the public.
Based on a data-driven, omnichannel approach, the campaign combines TV spots, social content, influencer marketing activities, and events. The musical theme, which runs throughout the entire plan, is most creatively expressed in the #DammiUnMotivo challenge, inviting citizens to participate by creating original musical jingles.
The concept and visual system developed for this campaign have also been consistently adapted for all ISTAT Permanent Census initiatives: Population and Housing, Businesses, Non-Profit Institutions, Agriculture, and more.
