SEMIC Conference 2025

Pomilio Blumm has overseen the design and management of SEMIC 2025, the European Union's flagship conference on semantic interoperability, organised by the Directorate-General for Digital Services (DIGIT) in cooperation with the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU 2025.

Held in Copenhagen, the event brought together over 500 onsite participants, 3,500 online attendees and more than 100 speakers from public institutions, businesses, universities and the scientific community. The two-day programme focused on the role of interoperability in transforming public services.

This fifteenth edition stood out for its scale and complexity, featuring high-level debates, collaborative sessions, hands-on technical workshops and a vibrant EXPO with live demonstrations and dedicated innovation spaces.
